Back in the mid-nineties when I would come back to Colorado from Montana to visit my old skate rat friends, we spent a lot of time skating around downtown Denver. It's fun being back in Denver for work now and rolling around downtown reminiscing on all those good times. Makes me wish I still had phone numbers for Matt Wilson and Steve Oman so I could call them up to go skate. A lot of spots are gone now (White Benches!) and the invention of skate stoppers has ruined others. I made a point to skate the route we always had such a fun time on. It helps that my hotel is right in the middle of it. Here are a some of what I consider to be classic Denver skate spots.
