Bumper jump kicks

I think this is supposed to be a skate blog. So we went skating. I jumped this pallet.

PJ came from Wyoming just to do this wallie.

Brandon bluntslides.

Took in some roller derby.

Dudebarn residents. Can you guess which one doesn't have a dudebarn tattoo.

Went with PJ to see From Ashes Rise. Sick show.

Verg sent me a box. Now I've got this hooked up. Can't wait for some more nice days to test this out.

Whale's Vagina

To me, there is hardly anything less exciting than traveling to a skate tradeshow on my 30th birthday. That being said I had just come off an amazing weekend (see below) and decided to make it last through the few days in San Diego. I started out by upgrading to first class on the flight down.

Then Wade kept it going by renting this ridiculously awesome Mustang.

We made our way to North County and stopped off at an amazing burrito joint. Who would be there eating? Conor, Greg, and Marty of course. Greg did some jump roping in the parking lot to work off his burrito.

Then over to TWS to harass Josh and skate the park. Wade and I ended the day with a second round of burritos and some drinks.

This sums up the tradeshow pretty well at Star Bar. Rico from Blood Wizard, Chris Gentry, and Strubing. Yeah!

Random bank vault.

Back to Portland for some night skating.

Brandon found his dream spot.

Spot check.

Old Tapez

Here you go Jeremy, you're on the blog! While capturing footage for the "upcoming" dude barn video, i found two old tapes from around 2002(i think). It's just some footage of my friend Jeremy and me that never was used for anything. I figured I would throw it on here, rather than let the tape sit in a shoebox for 8 more years. The skateboarding's not that spectacular, but please note that I am wearing a Northface fleece in at least one clip.

Surprise!

I couldn't think of a better birthday surprise than seeing 2 of my best friends roll into the Bye and Bye unannounced. Amy orchestrated all of it so that my hetero-lifemate, Conor, and I could continue on an awesome tradition of celebrating birthday week. This was one of the best weekends on record. We killed it!

Conor and Amy.

Andrew was excited.

All smiles.

So many choices for karaoke.

Kara and Amy.

Greg and Conor killing it here.

The crowd forms...

These chicks get fired up...

... And Andrew kicks out this jam.

This is the last of the photographic evidence from Friday night even though we carried on.

We tried to make skating work on Saturday to no avail.

Conor bought this shirt for 12.5¢ at the best store in Polson, MT.

Got to make room for more fun!

Even more fun happened after this.

This is Greg's sure fire way to get a dance circle started at a crowded bar. You're welcome world.

This is the kind of night we had!

Put some wigs on.

Classy.

Sunday was the day of Conor.

He cared not if he skated through puddles to do steezy crooked grinds.

Kickflip board breaker.

This store is amazing and Conor made sure to buy as much awesome stuff as possible. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see his velour suit.

Brandon mean mugs.

This was the 4th girl that Brandon got to rock the puffy coat.

Just look at how tight these dudes are!

Best photography walls ever!

Friday and Conor hold it down.
