Buy these photos!

So you couldn't come to the opening and a zine isn't enough for you?  How about buying a print?!
Everything was shot with film.  The color enlargements were done optically by Blue Moon Camera in Portland.  All the black and white was hand printed by yours truly.  All the prints are custom matted which were cut by hand in my living room.  And if all of that wasn't enough, everything comes framed!  So what are you waiting for!  Everything is going for $100 except for the Snow Day print, which is 2 shots that go together in 2 frames, and that is going for $150.  All the square shots are 10x10, everything rectangular is 11x14, and the Snow Day prints are 2 8x10s.  I accept PayPal and there will be additional charges for shipping if you live out of Portland.  Hit me up at georgefgd@hotmail.com if you're interested.  Or you can go by Commonwealth Skateboarding and buy one in person.  Perfect gifts for the Holidays!

Art Party.

So if you've been keeping up with the blog, you'll know that I had an art show last Saturday at Commonwealth.  It was a great turnout.  Some zines were sold and even one of the photos!  And of course there was plenty of hanging out with friends and a couple beers.  Here's what went down.

This dude was chilling.

The knuckle game happened too.

Big beer?  Small hands?  Both?

Then we hopped in the Vantasy.  Had ourselves a little dance party.

And then there was a house party.  No better way to get the party started than a shirtless dance party.

And when a bottle of black nail polish is found there's nothing to do but get your nails painted.

This Saturday! Photo Show and Zine Release!

I better see all you Portland residing blog readers at my photo show and zine release this Saturday, December 8th.  It's at Commonwealth Skatepark from 6-9pm.  The show is called It Might Have Been.  It's a collection of my favorite moments from the last few years skateboarding, hanging with friends, adventuring, and roaming around Portland.  Everything was shot on film and prints will be for sale at the opening.

Also, zines are now for sale!  A limited run of 75.  The zine contains all the shots that are in the show.  It's a mix of color and black + white photograpy.  They'll be for sale at Commonwealth or I can send one to you if you paypal me $5.  Hit me at georgefgd@hotmail.com.  And maybe I'll get some in the Seeing Things Gallery store too.

Halloween (observed).

Can everyone just agree on a weekend day that we can all celebrate Halloween?  Like President's Day?  When Halloween is on a Wednesday there is stuff to do the Friday and Saturday before and by the time Wednesday rolls around, I'm thinking "What's the fucking point?"  And so I stay home by myself drinking beers and watching The Simpsons.  So, a normal Wendesday.  Beside all that we had a blast on the weekend.  Starting with a party bus and ending at a warehouse party.  Here's Halloween.

Party Bus Friday.  Alex's mom made this happen and brought a box of costumes for us too.  So good.

This is when the bus broke down on I-84.  Don't worry, they got it going again.

We ended up in Zig Zag at some random bar and the locals didn't know what to make of our crew.

Then it was back to Portland.

Saturday night warehouse party.  Complete with mini ramp and Man Wolfs.
