Coda - Slappy Hour

The latest video release from Coda Skateboards went online today.  All around good skating that will make you want to go out and shred.  The most important part is that the friends section is basically a dudebarn section.  This might be the closest we ever get to making a dudebarn video.

Diesel X Poler

Our friends over at Poler have a rad thing going on with some sweet camping equipment.  Stuff that's made for people like us that want to pitch a tent, drink some beers, and have a good time.  It's not like any of us are summitting a mountain any time soon.  We don't need some crazy tent that's difficult to set up with a million pieces and clips.  Anyway, there's been a strong dog theme running through their blog so I offered up a couple of shots that I felt embodied it.  This shot of Diesel from my old backyard made the cut.  Man's best friend and a damn good dog.  I miss that guy.

Nestor Pro Ad!

I'm so stoked for Nestor with his recent induction into skateboarding's pro ranks.  He's amazing to see skate and after traveling all over with him I can say that he fully deserves it.

After our trip to Greece the guys at enjoi hit me up to see if I had any good photos of Nestor.  I knew they were looking for a shot for his ad.  I never thought one of my shots would make the cut.  That is until I got the new TWS today and my shot is used for the ad and is on the back cover!

Worst New York Trip Ever...

Not that NYC did anything bad to me.  I knew I was in trouble when I felt the onset of a cold a few days before leaving.  I knew it would ruin some of the fun I might have but I didn't know it would result in the bloody nose that landed me in the ER.  So, I need an NYC redo.  Not sure when that will be, but it will happen.

Made it to the Thrasher art show on Thursday night.  It was mellow and I saw lots of friends.  The Dennis McNett masks were rad.

 This was my first time hanging with 'Ssippi Joe.  It was his birthday so he was fired up.

Filmporvida has made me really enjoy checking the mail.  I get rad stuff all the time and have fun sending postcard photos to a bunch of people around the world that I don't know.  Well, I do know some of them.  Hit me up if you want to exchange!

Blew my nose last night and it turned into the worst nosebleed I've ever had. So bad I made a trip to the ER. Nothing like an NYC ER on Friday night. The end result? One nostril packed up to stop the bleeding.
