It was a weird summer. A lot of usual summer things weren't done. My trips to the river were minimal. Bike rides were down significantly. Zero camping happened. I'll blame it on the heat, I guess. June was gloomy and the weather went straight from that to the upper 90s. None of that nice in between somewhat hot days with cool nights. Or maybe I'm getting older and unmotivated. Another thing that was down was number of hikes. So I set out the other day (officially Fall) to see some waterfalls. A couple gorge hikes went undamaged by the fires of 2017 and Latourell is one of them. I headed there and snapped some shots.
